Paragraph Meaning (Complete English Translation)
In our daily lives, we make various choices. When shopping, deciding how to proceed with work, or building relationships with others, we are constantly choosing something. In recent years, many people point out that there are too many choices. With the spread of the internet, it has become easy to compare products and information, but at the same time, more people feel unsure about what to choose. Having many options may seem like increased freedom at first. However, it can also lead to taking too long to decide or feeling regret after making a choice. This condition is sometimes called “choice fatigue.” For this reason, methods to intentionally reduce choices are gaining attention. For example, deciding in advance which items to use daily, or not overthinking unimportant matters. Such methods can reduce mental burden. What matters is not the number of options themselves, but understanding what is necessary for oneself. Rather than being controlled by choices, a proactive attitude toward decision-making is required.
