Paragraph Meaning (Complete English Translation)
In recent years, the concept of “work–life balance” has become widely known. It refers to valuing both work and private life rather than prioritizing only one. In the past, many workplaces evaluated long working hours positively. However, this often resulted in accumulated physical and mental fatigue, leading to lower work efficiency. It was also problematic that people could not secure time for family or hobbies, reducing overall life satisfaction. Against this background, more companies are reconsidering how people work. There is a growing movement to create environments where employees can adjust their time more easily, such as by introducing remote work and flexible working hours. On the other hand, even when systems exist, some people feel they are difficult to use. This may be due to concern for colleagues or the amount of work they have. To achieve work–life balance, not only systems but also a workplace atmosphere where people understand and support each other is important. Only with such an environment can both individuals and organizations grow sustainably.
